Measure the existing situation
We agree which roads, periods and questions to study. Our equipment counts vehicles and, depending on its configuration, records speeds and passage times. We check available data and arrange further counts where needed. The analysis shows how measured volumes and speeds vary by place and time.
Compare circulation scenarios
A change on one street can shift traffic pressure to another. Through GridSight, we study alternative street directions, closures, access points and routes. The model helps compare expected effects on motor vehicle traffic across the study area and neighbouring roads. We present the findings with their assumptions and limitations.
Support an informed choice
We assess the options against objectives agreed with the municipality. Access, safety and the needs of other road users can inform our recommendation, although the model does not directly simulate their journeys. For a regular market or one-off event, we can also examine temporary arrangements and identify access issues to coordinate with the relevant parties.
